About the role

Our CloudOps Specialists, Wintel Systems & Apps Team are the freakishly talented team who provide systems & application support to both AC3 and our customers. This team is critical in ensuring that operational activities are managed to an exceptional level to minimise risk for both AC3 and our customers. As a member of this team, you provide unparalleled technical and customer service to our customers.

Part of the Platforms & Cloud Operations Team. This role manages the day to day Wintel systems & application support activities, including managing and reporting on incidents and problems. You’ll be working particularly closely with our customers (internal and external), the Professional Services and Operational Services teams to provide value and an exceptional experience to our customers.

About the Role
Manage, maintain and improve the Wintel Systems & Apps services for AC3 and customer systems Work within complex AWS environments  Work autonomously on tickets and assignments, seeing the task through to the end Monitor performance of key components, solutions and services Detect and act on related alerts where necessary Compile weekly and monthly reports on managed Wintel Systems and Apps Initiate pro active remedial action to ensure that managed systems & applications meet or exceed operational SLAs Develop Standard Operating Procedures for System & Application related support activities Assist in Transition activates/reviews as part of Project handovers Work on AC3 and customer related project activity as required Implement and maintain the AC3 Windows based operating systems, hypervisors and application support process and
the enforcement of related policies Provide input into the design and implementation of technical solutions and services for AC3 and its customers Skills & experience
8+ years’ extensive experience in area of expertise - typically with an MSP/Systems Integrator servicing small-to-large clients including working within multi-tenanted environments (less experienced candidates will be considered, but will fall into the lower range of the salary benchmark) Strong experience working with AWS Environments Experience working as an SME for infrastructure and server management Specialist in deploying, upgrading and supporting Microsoft Server, Exchange, O365, Active Directory, DFS, SCCM, Citrix XenDesktop & Netscaler, VMware, Enterprise Demonstrated commitment to customer-service, continuous improvement and ethical business practices Proven experience managing multiple tasks in a busy environment and working under stress in emergencies, and demonstrating flexibility to handle pressure coming from all directions simultaneously
