The Company

Robert Half is recruiting 2 Database Administrators for an innovative financial institution. As the result of an increased workload, our client is currently looking for two mid-level DBA's to maintain their Microsoft SQL Environment for the next 6 months.

The Role

Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure manager, you will play a vital role in their Database team. As a SQL database administrator, you will be providing Microsoft SQL support to projects and BAU improvements if necessary.

Key Responsibilities include:

Provide SQL support (responding to user questions, access control, and resolving problems), and assistance to application specialists.Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.Maintain database performance (capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of databases).Identifying
and resolve production and application development problems.

Your Profile

For this role, we require a SQL Database Administrator with proven experience in supporting database environments across MS SQL.

In addition, you will ideally be able to demonstrate:

2+ years MS-SQL hands on experience (managing, troubleshooting).Minimum 2 years' experience as a SQL Server DBA.Knowledge and experience with SSRS would be a plus.The ability to work autonomously.Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Exposure to Azure would be a plus.
