We are exclusively partnering with a recognizable Australian owned company to provide them with an experienced Commercial Finance Manager. Operating on a national scale and undergoing continued growth, they offer the opportunity to work for a brand that is well-known for providing exceptional levels of customer service combined with technical and industry leading expertise.

You will work with an experienced, forward thinking leadership team who will be highly supportive and collaborative, enabling you to be involved in the strategic direction of the business. With that in mind, it's an exciting time to be joining this P/E backed business planning an IPO in the next few years; you will play an integral part of that process.

This is a position with a broad remit with a requirement and ability to pivot between hands on action and strategic support and insight.

Firstly, we want you to understand the business, their clientele and market capability, as well as what the business offers. You will then have a focus on tightening financial processes and procedures, provide oversight to a high performing transactional team, and get into the detail to provide analysis around business performance. You will use your commercial expertise to drive business analytics and you will need to be capable of extracting information and presenting it in a clear and accurate manner.

You will work closely with the General Manager in a 2IC capacity and grow your responsibilities to lead the Treasury function and be hands-on with special projects such as post acquisition integrations. These projects will be specifically tailored to driving the business forward and you will be heavily involved in the acquisition and integration of new businesses. Given the nature of these projects, they will be crucial to the ongoing expansion of the company, so it is an opportunity to flex your strategic outlook.

To be considered for this role we are looking for someone who already has an extensive skill set within Commercial Management positions. You will have

a strong strategic mindset, be capable of analysing market trends and understand competitor performance. Given the significant plans for growth it is essential that you have a deep understanding of capital expenditure and cash flow, as well as an understanding and appreciation for importance of rigorous due diligence when it comes to new acquisitions. We are looking for someone who has been through previous integrations and understands the impact it has on the wider business.

Just as important as your technical capability and previous experience is what you will bring to this position as a person. Your Skills & Experience

Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or related field.Professional certification in accounting - CA or CPA.Excellent experience spanning at least 10 years.Natural talent for people leadership.Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationships.Forward-thinking ability to work under pressure and with deadlines.Able to resolve problems and conflicts and a professional and tactful manner.Exceptionally high level of honesty, integrity, commitment, and responsibility.IPO and M&A experience will be very well received.
