Your new role
The BDM, VIC will report to the National Manager, New Business ll be expected to grow membership by increasing the breadth of default fund coveragehe role is part of the Growth team that cost effectively attracts new members through attracting merger partners, businesses eir employees, advisers eir clients mbers directly at a rate to exceed planhis will include attracting new contributing businesses oadening default fund coverage across existing businessesr>
As an accomplished BusinessManager, you will ensure our Members First culture is consistently rmly embedded as you build a pipeline of opportunities by applying our sales methodology e Bid/No Bid processou will g enerate rsue new business opportunities through referrals from current Confidential businesses, particularly through the business relationships team e contact centre, by build employer centric, compelling propositionsou will pursue nage relationships with key decision makers fluencers to improve our chances of success ad presentations with employers
What you?ll need

Significant oven experience in business development, ideally in the Superannuation Financial Services or Insurance sectorsr>Proven track record in successfully engaging gotiating with stakeholders monstrated ability to devise, manage plement sophisticated businessstrategies
Highly developed emotional intelligence, translating in exceptional listening oven relationship pport building skills with key influencersr>Highly developed presentation blic speaking skills for small rger audiences of both high w levels of sophistication
To be a critical thinker with strong analytical oblem-solving skills along with an innovative, creative owth mindset
Proven ability to multi-task, project manage rk under pressure to meet tight deadlines
