Our client is an independent, expert-led, national, not-for-profit organisation with a purpose to increase community resilience through adaptation of the built environment. Their core solution stems from significant collaboration between engineers, scientists and mathematicians to produce an innovative product which will address challenges facing households, communities, industry and governments.

This is a very exciting time to be joining the organisation as they enter massive transformational change to scale up their operations to deliver a digital solution across mobile and web. As such, an opportunity for an experience Project Manager has presented itself.

The Role

The role will report into the CEO with a dotted line to the CTO. You will collaborate with internal and external technical delivery teams, and external industry and government stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving a social impact digital solution from vendor selection through to delivery and testing. As the Project Manager, you will;

End-to-end manage scoping, project plans, budgets, scheduling, progress and performance reporting.Manage internal and external science, engineering, communications, software, product and project teams to ensure outcomes are of the highest standardFacilitate an RFP process to select the appropriate delivery partner.Manage contract negotiations and sign-off.Manage the technical delivery of the vendor and internal project and product team.Provide project governance from end to end using multiple delivery methodologies.Identify and alert the senior stakeholders of any risk or potential impediments as well as offering
solutions.Engage and collaborate with both the vendor and key business stakeholders from all levels to gain acceptance from all parties according to their individual criteria.

Your Profile

The successful candidate will have strong foundations in multiple Project Management methodologies and have the ability to manage the delivery of a software vendor from end-to-end. You will be well versed in digital projects and comfortable working remotely in a fluid environment. You will hold a 'can do' attitude and be willing to step outside of your job description whenever necessary. You will have most, if not all of the following skills;

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Thorough experience in planning, managing, reporting and delivering digital software development projects on time and on budget from end-to-end. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and preferably in mobile and web.Possess a high level of EQ to engage stakeholders from all levels and manage their expectations from the fruition of a project to completion.Be able to wear other hats and get into the detail in order to do 'whatever it takes' to deliver.Have experience managing multiple vendors with conflicting priorities.Contribute to Business Analysis and Testing in some instances.
