The Role

In this diverse and highly dynamic role, you will act as the Lead during the test planning and execution phase. Responsibilities include documenting code migration to higher environments, ensuring a code freeze is established and the UAT environment is baselined and updated with latest release. You will ensure test cases have been traced and test cases, data, and scenarios have been created, received, and validated and establish and document a release schedule, and ensure a defect and Change Request Process is documented in the plan.

Your Skills & Experience

Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.Excellent experience of at least two years testing applications with multiple stakeholders/customers.Commercial experience of testing in a lead or coordinator capacity.Experience in producing test plans and holding workshops.Experience handling partners and business expectations.Knowledge of Agile practices would be an advantage.Strong knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control practices and tasks.Capability and willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, shifts in direction and priorities, both from a customer and internal perspective.Ability
to make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgement.Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients and/or colleagues at all levels.Functional understanding of the full System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases.Experience spanning 2 years in test case scenario development to perform positive and negative testing of requirements.Experience using testing tools such as SoapUI, QuickTestPro (QTP), and Application Life Cycle Management (ALM).

Yet you also have the social and communication skills to convey complex IT concepts to a wide audience. You are a self-starter, able to work to tight deadlines and meet project requirements while still having an eye for detail.
