About the Role
The Senior System Engineer is responsible for designing and documenting solution proposals, with reference to a defined system functional baseline, to satisfy customer requirements and project/bid cost targets. The position of Senior System Engineer provides technical oversight to other teams within the project/bid, ensuring that the designed solution is implemented as per the design and in accordance to the project/bid schedule and cost constraints.

As the Senior Systems Engineer working on TopSky Projects provides you with the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and new tools within Air Traffic Control, exposure to a variety of projects across the globe, the ability to make design decisions and work closely with an array of clients.

You will bring to the Role
o    Clear understanding of systems engineering processes and functional baseline (FBL) management (Specification writing, Requirements analysis, Traceability, System level design / architecture / Interface, Requirements management)
o    Experience in total life cycle of software development including processes and responsibilities at each stage in the cycle
o    Knowledge in System Engineering tools (Doors/Matlab...)
o    Experience in Operational Concepts and Domain knowledge of Traffic Management Systems (Air/Rail/Military...) or comprehensive Simulation product knowledge
o    Focus on Customer, Innovate, Performance and Teamwork
o    Excellent written and oral communications skills
o    Engineering or Computer Science Degree or equivalent

The Systems Engineer is Responsible For
o    Preparing, in accordance with processes and submitting on time and on budget to the SEM / PM solution proposals (Design and/or Architecture) to the functional baseline in the context of the project/bid to satisfy customer requirements with reference to the defined ATM functional baseline
o    Documenting solution in Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
o    Preparing products (baseline documentation; SSS, SSDD, ICDs) required for internal specification reviews and external reviews with Customers
o    Maintaining the functional baseline configuration and the respective database
o    Maintaining traceability between customer requirements and the functional baseline
o    Team work, providing support to the Software Development, Integration and Validation teams during the implementation phase of the project
