The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Chris21 experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join a well-established and nationally recognised industry leader in Melbourne CBD.

Starting ASAP, this position is offered on a 6-month temporary contract. You will be working as part of a close knit team, and will be provided with the autonomy to work remotely 3-4 days per week.

The Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:

Processing end-to-end national payroll processing meeting agreed timeframesDelivering all statutory requirements such as Superannuation, Payroll Tax, PAYG, and Workers CompensationEstablishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, working collaboratively on new starters and terminations, and ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely mannerSupporting the Payroll Manager with projects as required by the
businessMaintaining payroll operations by following and improving current policies and procedures

Your Profile

To be successful, you will be an experienced and competent Senior Payroll Officer who is able to work autonomously and take ownership of an end-to-end payroll function.

Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required. You will high attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, and a proven ability to pick up new systems, processes, and procedures.

Previous experience of Chris21 is essential.
