Senior Claims Manager

Due to the expansion of the business, Executive Search has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Claims Manager for a sophisticated Insurtech and TPA Claims Management company./p>

Property and Motor.p>

The Role

With overall responsibility for a team of over 30 staff both at Team Leader and Consultant level, one of the principal roles of the Claims Manager is that of Leadership.he successful individual will create a high-performing culture ensuring the best talent is identified, hired, coached, mentored, developed and, ultimately, retained.p>

Key Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with executive and senior leaders to create and maintain a robust operational platform for the business;Review, recommend and action data quality initiatives;Coordinate rapid response teams in the wake of CAT events and successfully manage peak workloads in highly compressed timeframes;Work with colleagues in the Continuous Improvement and Technology teams to implement new software solutions;Maintain operational responsibility for adherence to AFSL, GICOP, IDR and other regulatory compliance obligations;Identify and drive new initiatives to increase
the team's performance against set KPI's;?Prepare and present regular operational reports to a variety of internal and external stakeholders where required;Maintain up to date industry knowledge and leverage this to contribute to out-of-the-box thinking and innovation;

Your Profile

Individuals with over 3 years' experience in a significant leadership position with General Insurance multi-line claims management experience specifically across property or motor vehicle claims processing though farm, fleet or PI claims experience will also be considered would be of great interest.n in-depth knowledge insho w best to manage CAT insurance claims and a sound understanding of innovative metrics and drivers for a successful claims management operation are also essential.p>

A professional and mature leader with strong mentoring skills and business acumen with the ability to deliver results across both internal and external customers in the insurance sector is desired.p>

A high degree of intellect and emotional intelligence, in addition to confidence in their commercial judgement and decision-making, will ensure this individual is successful in providing clear direction to all internal and external stakeholders. highly adaptable and influential data-driven individual with a desire to lead a continuous improvement culture will integrate well and thrive in this fast-paced business.p>
