About the role

This role is imperative to our continued financial growth, and the successful candidate will help to establish the Canberra operation, with the key focus on sourcing and developing new business opportunities.
Networking and relationship building with prospects and clients for the purpose of creating revenue opportunities Prospect for new clients using your existing network, and by networking using digital & social channels, vendor alignment/engagement or other means of generating interest from potential clients Partner with our technical team to develop proposals that align to the client’s business objectives and requirements Grow your network and influence by attending industry functions, conferences and events
Skills & experience
Demonstrated success in a complex technology sales environment, including software/cloud solution sales, developing & managing a new customer base, developing and maintaining an existing customer base, and meeting allocated revenue and sales targets Advanced understanding of the software, cloud and wider IT markets, including our competitors, and other economic indicators to steer our sales department with your forward thinking vision Strong relationship management and teamwork skills, working with a broad cross section of stakeholders including customers, suppliers, technical experts and industry leaders Strong IT product knowledge, especially Tier 1 and strong understanding of IT solutions Effective negotiation & problem resolution skills to achieve win/win situation If you are interested in the position, please put forward your application via the APPLY button.
