About Your Role

This full time permanent Senior Bid Manager role is part of our corporate bid management team servicing major bids across Thales Australia. Partnering with different business units, you will be using your experience and expertise to lead the development of compelling and competitive proposals for our Defence, Security and Civil customers in Australia and abroad.

Leading and managing bids in accordance with Thales guidelines ensuring it addresses the objectives of the business.Working collaboratively with Capture Manager to ensure that the bid strategy, value proposal, win themes and discriminators are translated and appropriately reflected in the tender response.Building and enriching offered solutions by firstly ensuring deliverables meet and where appropriate exceed tender expectations.Strategic management of stakeholders and associated communications both internal and external to draw together compelling offers which have the best probability of success.Overseeing the estimation activity to ensure price to win targets are achieved with the required fidelity.Engaging transversally across functional areas to optimise resource allocation for bid activities.Overseeing interfaces and transition points with Sales teams and eventual project teams.

How About You?

Degree qualified in business, engineering, project management or other suitable discipline.Proven and effective leadership skills with a high level of
interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.Proven Bid Management experience at a senior level with multi-partners / major co-contractors.Ability to lead in an international environment in diverse cultures, multicultural and unstable arena concerning one or several stakeholders.
