About Your Role

This is an expression of interest for a Program Director to join us in Sydney to deliver an upcoming Commonwealth and NSW state government project.

Communicate and drive vision and strategy for the program in conjunction with other senior Thales managers.Manage changes of contract scope.  Review changes to task scope in accordance with delegations.Drive schedule adherence, identify variances and raise exception reports on task progress.  Recommend timely corrective action as necessary.Review information from the financial system at project and program levels of aggregation, and recommend timely corrective action as necessary.  Receive exception reports on task cost performance.Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System in the Program. Responsible for the actioning of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).Provide line management in accordance with HR policies and practice for staff reporting to the position.  Provide transversal support and leadership for program management staff.Play a leadership and support role in customer communication in coordination with the management team and the broader Leadership Team.  Responsible for all contract correspondence with the immediate customer.

How About You?

Proven experience in a project management or an ICT  leadership role.Experience in managing complex projects in a government or defence acquisition environment.Formal engineering or
ICT qualifications.Membership of a relevant professional organisation for project management; eg. Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM, CPPD) or International Project Management Association (IPMA - Level B or preferably A). Strong leadership and communication skills to develop a high performance team.Familiar with the Airport technology sectorFamiliar  with civil infrastructure contracts
