Located within our picturesque orchard in Narre Warren North, we have an exciting opportunity for a Presizer Production Engineer to join our team in our new purpose built facility.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Presizer Production Engineer is responsible for the efficient maintenance, operation of Fruit Grading equipment and software to ensure in feed of quality fruit in accordance with customer specifications and varying tolerances.
In addition to a positive and can- Do attitude, we are seeking a candidate who has:
- 2+ years- experience in a similar role
- Experience with Compac Grading equipment including Spectrim, Ultraview and Inspectra programs
- Experience with Burg machinery and hardware
- Experience with FMCG production environments
- Analytical and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with ERP-s will be well regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving / trouble shooting skills
- Excellent time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct a small team and other associated resources
- Manage work area, machinery, equipment and tools
- Track and report on team, machinery and equipment efficiencies
- Monitor and assist with system upgrades and machinery/process/equipment modifications
Compac, Spectrim, Ultraview, Inspectra, Sizer systems
- Create maps and adjust tolerances using Spectrim, Ultraview & Inspectra
- Compac sizer layout preparation, testing sizer lanes for any syncing, outlet or solenoid issues
- Extended quality and size profile checks
- Maintain weigh bridge (load cells) at accurate levels
- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, equipment and software status and integration. Liaise with third party providers regarding system faults and warranty issues
Salary Package: $70000 + Super
