The Company

We are working closely with our client to source an exceptional Payroll Leader to supervise the Payroll team. This is a busy and varied role with a large focus on People Management and implementing a collaborative working environment. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and partner with different teams within the Business building close working relationships.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a Payroll team to ensure that the fortnightly Payroll runs smoothly and accurately for 1000+ employees. You will support and develop the team to reach their potential and grow with training and direct supervision. In addition, you will maintain all compliance and legislative requirements including superannuation, taxation, awards and contracts and be the subject matter expert in these areas. You will also be implementing working processes and procedures to meet overarching strategic goals. This is a busy and varied role and will see you partnering with all Business units and being the subject matter expert for Payroll across the Business.

Your Skills & Experience

Outstanding Payroll knowledge with experience supervising and mentoring a team.Large ERP and Rostering system experience - Aurion is
beneficial. Subject matter expert for taxation, superannuation, awards and contracts.Experience optimizing Payroll systems and implementing working processes and procedures to streamline and increase efficiencies.Excellent MS Office skills including intermediate Excel. Remarkable attention to detail.Exceptional communication skills.Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.Ability to easily learn new systems.
