JOB DESCRIPTION

The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established and nationally recognised industry leader in Melbourne on a full-time basis. Starting ASAP, this position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:

Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and efficientlyCollecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll informationProcessing fortnightly payroll and termination paymentsResolving payroll discrepanciesReconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate information is provided to external partiesMaintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures

Your Profile

To be successful, you will be an experienced and competent Payroll Officer who is able to work autonomously and take ownership of an end to end payroll function. Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required. You will high attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, and a proven ability to pick up new systems, processes, and procedures.
