The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & HR Officer to join a growing privately held organisation based in Melbourne CBD. Starting ASAP, this position is offered on a 3-month temporary contract.

The ability to work autonomously and without supervision is paramount, as the position will offer flexibility to work from home.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include:

End to end fortnightly payroll processingProcessing payroll tax, workcover, and superannuation contributionsMonth-end Payroll reconciliation reportsKey point of contact for employees on both payroll and HR-related queriesAssisting with recruitment activitiesPreparing employment contracts

Your Profile

To be successful, you will be an experienced and competent Payroll Officer who is able to work autonomously and take ownership of an end-to-end payroll function. Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required. You will high attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, and a proven ability to pick up new systems, processes, and procedures.
