Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in metal fabrication or related field.
- Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Good physical stamina and hand- Eye coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, align, and secure metal components using calipers, rulers, clamps, welding machines, or other metal working tools to produce parts and assemblies for various construction projects, specifically focusing on steel concrete reinforcement.
- Operate cutting tools and machinery such as saws, shears, and grinders to cut, bend, and straighten metal pieces as required in steel fixing and construction projects.
- Weld or join metal components using various welding techniques (such as MIG, TIG, arc welding) to create complex structures or components in line with project requirements.
- Examine fabricated components to ensure they conform to specifications, making adjustments or corrections as necessary to meet high- Quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order and comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects, while adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the construction and metal fabrication industry.
- Interpret assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary tools and materials for the fabrication process.
