Vision Statement for Inbound Marketing Manager - Digital

The no-fail goal 21/22: Utilise Hubspot & digital channels to maximise lead gen while reducing CPA, allowing for healthy profit margins and reinvestment into your optimised channels.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Inbound Marketing Manager, is responsible for generating high quality inbound leads targeting Enterprise level customers who will engage our Agency for PPC, SEO, Programmatic and Creative services.

Day-to-day the Inbound Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that True?s marketing budget is optimised specifically for lead generation across all digital channels including search, social, display and utilising various methods including contextual, video, content and research.

You will have solid knowledge of Hubspot and can maximise tools and features across multiple channels including content creation (with support from True?s content team).

This person will be involved from the outset calculating/optimising CPA and CPL as well as providing metrics and insights into why/why not channels are converting whilst providing requests to content and creative teams for material required.

This person?s core role does not require client contact, rather frequent contact & reporting with key stakeholders above and across the command line.

They?re most likely to have worked in an Agency environment - with at least four years of experience or a high level of digital lead generation experience. They will understand the marketing funnel is no longer linear,
how ad units work on all major platforms and have a test-optimise-repeat mindset.

Lead Generation

Source - Find and select the most efficient lead generation channels
Optimise & Review - constantly test-optimise-review-repeat to strive for lowest CPA/CPL
Forecast - accurately build lead and value projections weekly & monthly
Create - champion required asset creation with the production team (content & creative)
Hubspot - be an expert in all things Hubspot
Solutions-oriented - has a strong desire to ?find a way? through offerings
Keeping Everyone Updated - answering questions before they?re even asked


Justify - facts not opinions on channel selection, optimisations and investment
Communicate - clear, concise, regular weekly and ongoing goal reporting
Proactive - never wait for budget shifts, fail fast and constantly improve
Forecast - accurately build lead and revenue projections
Calculate - know and build the appropriate metrics including ROAS, CPL, CPA, CPV
Solve - find ways to meet revenue shortfalls through channels and budgeting
