As our new Manager Regulatory Affairs, you will coordinate Confidential-s external regulatory relations; contributing significantly to the way in which our Confidential relates to bodies, regulators, oversight bodies cal communities. The role anticipates regulatory challenges based on our strategy sk appetite omotes constructive regulatory affairs practices across the senior leadership team. You will be responsible for maintaining Confidential-s holistic record of regulatory interactions rrespondence.

This is an ideal role for an experienced lawyer in financial services seeking to move on from more traditional legal practice ply their expert interpersonal skills to build relationships gage with business owners gulatory teams alike.

You will provide leadership for a small team of specialists providing expert advice put into the strategy around regulatory requirements across banking, insurance r Group.

Key responsibilities include

Engage with, advocate to, pport the boards, committees, nfidential in applying effective regulatory affairs operations.
Provide expert advice on the proposed material for financial services regulatory reform.
Engage with relevant bank, insurance oup stakeholders including Advocacy, executives, CROs sponsible Managers in formulating ecuting financial services regulatory influencing strategy.
Engage with, advocate for pport other risk mpliance functional staff across the Division oup.
Support board mmittee reporting as required.
Provide input into Confidential IC reporting her oversight bodies as required.
Influence, as available, Group projects, initiatives, her business changes in responding to, or in the context of, financial services regulatory change.

Key skills & experience

7-10 years- senior experience withing within an agile insurance or banking environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulator operations, financial services sector operations, ghly regulated environments.
A strong underst of the financial services regulatory framework in Australia.
Comprehensive underst of contemporary erging issues allenges for the financial services sector in Australia, ternationally.
Engagement mmunication with, fluencing of, boards nior executives.
Highly developed leadership experience pability.
Continuous improvement coaching, facilitation vocacy abilities
Critical analysis abilities to uncover hidden insights.

Desirable skills & experience

+ years working experience, with at least five years within risk, audit or governance positions.
Strong data analysis sights capability titude.
