Widely regarded as a world leader in the design and production of innovative consumer electronic appliances, this Australian founded company has grown a huge global presence and are now on the lookout for an experienced IT Support Manager to help develop a new support strategy to further aid their intended growth plans. This is a permanent, full-time position and will be based out of their head office in the inner-south of Sydney (close to public transport + onsite parking).

Main Responsibilities: 

Reporting directly in to the Group Head of IT, this position will primarily be responsible for developing & implementing a group support strategy that aligns to business requirements whilst meeting agreed SLA's, leading a team both locally and overseas and developing new processes to streamline business processes. This role will lead a team of 2 local reports with 3 overseas reports, all of which are Service Desk reports.

Further key responsibilities this position will look after includes:
Formulating and maintaining a group support strategy, and tracking + communicating the progress with key executive stakeholders Leading, developing and managing a support team of internal and external staff, ensuring group support goals are being achieved and services are being provided in a timely & effective manner Ensuring the service desk is staffed adequately and skill levels are maintained throughout all operational hours Maintaining shift procedures for the service desk and for support vendors Acting as an escalation point for staff as needed Ensuring all SLA's are being adhered to Developing and maintaining the annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets Ensuring that an accurate IT Asset list is maintained at all times Ensuring that there is a clear on/off-boarding process in place that works closely with HR and Procurement Managing vendor contracts for the business's printing, building security and telephony/mobile device fleet What's in it for you?

Role requirements:

The ideal candidate will have come from a proven management background with a record of developing + implementing new processes/procedures and developing a team. You will also have:
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline 3+ years' experience working in a similar Support Manager position Previous experience managing teams with a global reach would be highly regarded ITIL certifications  ISO27001 certifications would be highly regarded Proven experience managing and negotiating SLA agreements Proven experience managing vendors and negotiating support/maintenance contracts Proven budget management experience Previous experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Office 265, Airwatch MDM, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, SharePoint, SCCM/Intune, Unigraphics/SolidWorks would be highly regarded Proven stakeholder management skills (relationship building and service-oriented focus) This is a fantastic role that will be busy from the get go, have you work not only on local projects but on global projects, and will give you the opportunity to assist the continued global growth plans of this business.
