The Role

As IT Operations Manager you will lead the department to achieve key business objectives. Your extensive experience tells you a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work and you have the commercial insights to predict IT needs, play a hands-on role in development of business strategy, and solve unique - and often - complex problems. Your meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm for supporting new and evolving projects will see you report to senior leaders, while offering unwavering motivation to your own team.

Your Skills & Experience

5+ years solid System Administrator backgroundAt least 2+ years Microsoft Azure experienceExperience managing office domain, (Azure Active Directory), Office 365, Intune, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, AV (Crucial to have solid Office 365 experience)Freshdesk service support or equivalent ticketing systemBasic Networking experience (bonus:
advanced networking experience and managing cloud-based firewalls and networks)Formal IT qualification relevant to roleA strong
customer focused approach with proven ability to proactively problem solveExcellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively engage, consult & collaborate to achieve with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to produce reports and messaging to the wider business on issues including findings and actionsGenesys or similar cloud call-centre system experience is desirableProven ability in process improvement and changeKnowledge of Service Delivery Management and PracticesAble to demonstrate experience leading and managing Service Delivery TeamsAbility to understand the business and IT needs of a wide range of customers.
