Organisation

For this role, you will be based on our client's site in Botany.

Due to public transport limitations, you will need a vehicle to get to site. 

Position

You will be a 1st point of contact and provide 1st & 2nd level IT support services to approximately 200 users spread in a Windows based environment as well as assisting with a reimaging roll out project.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Providing Level 1&2 technical support either by telephone, email, remote or face to face. Troubleshooting software and hardware issues in a Windows based environment (Office Suite, Outlook, Active Directory, Windows 7/10, etc.) Perform user account administration maintaining user access in the various Systems and Software Assist in applying
Desktop images Updating clients on progress during problem resolution. Maintain Knowledge base to facilitate prompt resolution of incidents     
Technical requirements
1.5+ years supporting and troubleshooting a Windows based environment in medium size organisation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Service Desk support experience (via phone, email or remotely) Strong knowledge across Windows 7&10, Outlook, Active Directory, Network and Security.  Good knowledge of ITIL standards IT degree or equivalent qualification  Excellent communication skills Outstanding Customer Service skills
