About the role

The Public Engagement Lead is a new position leading engagement rtnerships with stakeholders, residents sinesses, ll lead the development, implementation intenance of CBD stakeholder relations, stakeholder governance ocesses, ad local resident siness engagementp>

While the role will work across cohealth's programs rvices, the role will have a key focus on the CBD with the incumbent being a key part of establishing cohealth's footprint rvices in the CBDp>

The Public Engagement Lead also works across cohealth to provide advice to ensure diverse communities, high level stakeholders, Local , business her stakeholders are actively engaged to the maximum extent possible in the design livery of cohealth services, programs rategic initiativesp>

Your daily duties will vary but will include:

Monitor media to ensure cohealth understssues that are important to those who live, work sit the CBDr>Design engagement strategies that are reflective of the demography rspectives of CBD residents siness ownersr>Develop systematic processes for feedback for any concerns from local residents, businesses mmunity sure follow up ocesses to
demonstrate concerns are being addressed ild trust nfidence in cohealthr>Mobilise intain supporter groups of any CBD servicesr>Develop intain strategic relationships with officers from key stakeholders, including stakeholders including with Department of Health, Melbourne Confidential, Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, Business groups sident groupsr>Maintain an up-to-date stakeholder roll which segments ioritises groups dividuals, flags issues, indicates mmarises actions in a formal registerr>Lead public engagement capability uplift at cohealth by providing expertise adership to cohealth leadership teamsr>

Key selection criteria:

Experience in leading public akeholder relations in a complex or controversial environmentr>Highly developed stakeholder relations terpersonal skills, including the ability to engage people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures pabilitiesr>Proven experience in developing public akeholder strategies mpaigns adapted to particular population cohorts akeholder groupsr>Demonstrated ability to organise ioritise tasks, rk to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detailr>Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously llaboratively lead, inspire, motivate nage multi-function teams ter-sectoral partnerships in a fast-paced nstantly changing environmentr>Demonstrated experience working under pressure ten intense media scrutinyr>Demonstrated cognitive nceptual skills that promote innovation, creative problem solving itiative, >Exemplary verbal itten communications skills including the ability to produce high quality reports, briefings, submissions esentations for a range of audiencesr>
