About the role

Working with the Regional Manager, the Client Directed Services CDS Coordinator based in the Eastern region is responsible for the day- to -day performance and development of Wellways' CDS offer within the region.lient Directed Services is primarily Wellways NIDS stream, Wellways is a registered NDIS provider and the CDS stream works with people with mental health issues and disabilities to understand and implement their NDIS plan and NDIS goals.he CDS Coordinator is directly responsible for the recruitment, induction, development and support of the CDS team who deliver CDS services, including Support Workers, Support Coordinators, Customer Service Officers and Business Development Staff.ccordingly, this role must have sound skills in the performance development of staff and a thorough understanding of appropriate systems and processes that support staff in a CDS environment.p>

This is an opportunity to join a supportive leadership team that works collaboratively to support staff and participants to lead meaningful lives.p>

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Support high quality supports and services to participants and their support networks
Work with culturally safe and trauma aware principles in
Work closely with the Regional Manager, Manager Disability Support Services and Business Development Staff to pursue and develop business opportunities
Engage with all relevant service providers, as well as consumers and their families/carers, to develop trusting and professional relationships
Ensure that all Client Directed Services are delivered at consistently high standards of quality that meet and exceed both internal and external benchmarks and standards

Skills & experience

Qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Demonstrated comprehensive experience / knowledge in working with people with mental health conditions
