Market Surveillance is a global function within Markets Risk that brings together all aspects of regulatory nancial crime risk managemente are a second line function who work together with the business verage advanced technology to help Confidential anticipate vigate the forever changing regulatory environmentp>

You are to conduct independent reviews for potential market manipulation ading misconduct & will be required to lead or collaborate on various regulatory responses ojects ovide training for junior members of the teamp>

You will be responsible for driving the next generation of data analytics via the implementation of controls using machine learning detection methods K-Means, PCA, ARIMA, NLPhis includes responsibility for ensuring the controls are fit-for-purpose upon reaching a production statep>

Your key priorities sponsibilities include:

Develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both locally ternationalncluding but not limited to Compliance, Market Risk, First line, Technology leads, Project teams, internal ternal audit / legal teamsbr>Subject Matter Expert for regulatory notices ternal Investigationsbr>Technology Product Owner for strategic data analytics platforms, ensuring collaboration scipline within the Confidential NWOW modelbr>Good underst of Big Data Technology Infrastructure e Industry lpe
Drive uplift for Markets Risk culture as a member of the Markets Risk Leadership Team
Chair for Confidential Global Surveillance Governance Forum

About You

To grow successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Deep underst of Markets Product knowledge, prior proven expertise or experience in trade surveillance, trading or risk managementbr>Strong quantitative skillset - data analysis sights, reporting with knowledge of data science techniques an advantage
Experience in leading large diverse teamsust have strong self-awareness, team-oriented approach to problem-solving ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment preferably with some international experience
Process driven to ensure the governance framework remains robust to meet regulatory requirements
Excellent verbal, writing esentation skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization able to relay complex technical concept to non-technical audiencetrong attention to detailigh ethical sts, respect for confidentiality ivacybr>Good underst of global regulations eg MIFID, MAR, FX Global Code, Ausorp Act, ASX Market Integrity Rules
Business, Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics Tertiary Qualified
