Job Title: Full- Time Telecommunication Field Engineer
Salary: $66,000 plus superannuation
- Minimum Diploma level of relevant qualification is preferred
- Minimum four years of experience in the related field
- Demonstrated skills in fault diagnosis and service restoration in communications systems and equipment
- Skills in the development and/or installation and commissioning of communications technologies is highly preferred
- Self- Motivated, able to operate under general direction
- Strong focus on service delivery to customers
- Knowledge in Scoping, Rod and Roping is advantages

Responsibilities:
- Configuring and integrating complex network and telecommunication technology with computer software, hardware, desktop
- Interpreting engineering drawings to installing equipment
- Installing new wireless networks, such as 3G, 4G and 5G networks
- Installing NBN FTTN, FTTBs, systems, DPUs, Modems etc
- Setting up and servicing the telephony and broadband services
- Optimizing systems ensuring minimal costs
- Preparing, reviewing and finalization of documentation for each site or area
- Liaising between design and construction teams on technical matters
- Preparing specifications on Telecom Systems
- Rought in cables, terminate cables, fit off bracket, hardware fit off, install, and terminate racks
- Preparing functional analysis, telecommunication equipment date sheets
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults on the network
- Performing the F. A. T (Factory Acceptance Test), OTDR and SDH testing
- Examining and testing all installed equipment and use various meters and tools to test and commission the equipment
- Monitoring the performance of networks and advising the clients for any upgradation or any required replacement of existing components
- Performing end user software installation, configuration, procurement, support, and troubleshooting on end user devices
- Using tools to diagnose faults on service call and adjust or replace the worn- Out parts or wiring
- Quality Assurance low level testing and audits
- Ensuring that complex network restoration following any un- Cheduled outage is achieved with minimum interruption to the operation of the network
- Providing ongoing operational support in designing, optimising, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and resolving of telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults
