Full Time Software Engineer
Salary: $70,000 plus Super
Skills and Experience Required:
The position require qualifications & accreditations in software Engineering or equivalent qualification. The rationale for employing people to fit these minimum standards is their proven ability to advantage themselves and their company with additional & advanced skills through cross training and commensurate with the Sai Infinity Pty Ltd-s application development service strategies.
Three years of full time experience is required.
Hands- On experience in Database languages including Data definition language, Data manipulation language & Oracle PLSQL, Teradata & MySQL and UNIX shell scripting.
Well versed in the following tools and uses them every day for building and testing activities:
- Control- M: Managing and scheduling jobs through Control- M for batch processing.
- Teradata/ORACLE: Building and finetuning complex queries.
- Axiom: Building workflows and creating various types of reports for regulatory
Reporting.
- Informatica: Debugging & fixing the issues
- Jira & Confluence: Tracking the progress of stories and its related information in Agile
- Model.
- QC & AM: Defect Management applications.
Responsibilities:
- Working across all phases of software engineering lifecycle from gathering requirements such as interacting with the Business Analysts and Business Users for technical & functional requirement gathering and analysis and preparing detailed technical design document based on requirements.
- Performing Unit, System Integration, Regression testing-s and providing UAT support to the Business Users and fixing issues.
- Preparing specification documents for integration layers (ETL), testing documents, implementation documents and Production Support Handover documents.
- Involved in other tasks including performance tuning of customer report scripts, GAP analysis and fixing production issues.
- Mentoring and helping other team members at offshore/onsite to understand coding, system configuration details, business logic, testing and the technical aspects.
- Defect management throughout the Software engineering lifecycle phase by analysing, debugging and fixing the issues in the application program code, as per the standard quality procedures.
- Involved in documenting and updating system procedures and system workflows.
- Contributing to project margin by reusing tools, best practices, IT frameworks & processes.
