- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of Certificate III in Engineering - Textile Mechanic
- Highly developed problem-solving and decision-Making skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner
Responsibilities:
- Perform sewing machine setup (new & used), trouble shooting, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Make unscheduled repairs on production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of
Equipment during machine servicing.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical/electronical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
Troubleshooting and repair of production and finishing machines.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust machinery.
- Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or
Performance.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, metal work tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
- Assist in training junior/trainee sewing machine mechanics all facets of repairs & servicing. This will also include sewing.
Machine operators in proper setup and operation of machines.
- Comply with safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
