Full Time Senior Lecturer - Woolloongabba

Requirements:
Leaders institute is a private higher education provider that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We have our head office in Brisbane with an additional campus in Sydney.
- Successful completion of a research masters degree (aqf level 9) in a relevant area.
- Demonstrated expert contemporary knowledge in a relevant area
- Relevant industry or practice- ased experience; or relevant research evidenced by publications
- Experience in teaching in the higher education sector including experience with international students
- Essential criteria
- Ability to communicate well with students from diverse cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
- Well- developed team skills.
- Capacity to work with a degree of autonomy

- Desirable selection criteria
- Successful completed of a research doctorate (aqf level 10)
- Membership of a relevant professional body
- Experience in developing online learning resources
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Experience with diverse cultures

- Desirable if able to speak Punjabi / Hindi / Haryana

Responsibilities:
Coordinate units within courses
Preparation and delivery of lectures and tutorials
Student advice and support during regular consultation hours and at other times by arrangement
Setting and marking continuous assessment items and final examinations in the units to which they are assigned
Internal moderation of continuous assessment items and final examinations of units taught by colleagues
Administrative and other activities related to teaching and assessment
Exhibit high standards of professional and personal conduct in fulfilling all duties
As our masters courses are niche and are not offered by any other provider in Australia, we require someone with agribusiness expertise and recent experience to help deliver our units.
