Requirements:
- A Skill Certificate in Automobile Mechanics.
- Minimum two years work experience in vehicle servicing & diagnosing is mandatory
- Experience in diagnostic equipment and auto electrical work focusing on Japanese and European cars
- As an additional experience, diagnosing, initial start- Up and SCN coding using the Xentry scan tool for Mercedes light vehicles is advantageous.
- Good team player
- Ability to speak Sinhala Language is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Servicing of all types of Japanese and European Motor vehicles as per manufacturer?s instructions.
- Diagnosing of all Electrical and Mechanical defects in vehicles and determine suitable repair plan.
- Replacing vehicle parts and components and testing.
- Testing the vehicles after repairs to ensure that vehicle is road useable.
- Using scan tool to detect engine and other vehicle defects.
- Dismantling and removing engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, checking parts, and undertaking repairs.
