Biointelect Pty Ltd is a life sciences strategy consulting firm. We work with a broad range of Australian and international clients who are researching, developing and marketing new medical technologies in Australia and internationally. Our clients include pharmaceutical companies, biotech and medtech companies, universities, research institutes, government and not- For- Rofit organisations.
Full Time Management Consultant
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 + superannuation
Position Description:
This role sits within the Strategic Market Access and Policy Team. The successful applicant will develop and manage client relationships, contribute to business development activities and manage consulting projects, end- To- End.
Location: Suite 5. 02, Level 5/139 Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000
If the quality of applicants is high, more than one role may be offered.
- Minimum Masters degree in health economics, life sciences or a relevant related field
- At least 2 years experience in a role in market access, consulting or a similar field
- Additional other experience in a clinical or life sciences, and international experience desirable
- Experience in oncology and rare disease desirable
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex matters to a non- Technical audience
- High level of competency utilising Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strong understanding of the international biopharmaceutical sector, approval processes for new medical technologies and key strategic issues facing the sector


Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis for client projects, on topics including:
- Market access and reimbursement strategy (Australia and major international markets)
- Landscape assessment, competitor and unmet need analysis
- Evidence requirements and options for evidence generation for health technology assessment and life cycle product management
- Health and health technology assessment policy (Australia and international)
- Stakeholder mapping and engagement
- Real world evidence strategy
- Data analysis
- Manage projects, end- To- End, on time and on budget
- Build client relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Manage other team members contributing to client projects
