We are looking for an experienced Head Chef in Perth. We are open 7 days a week and will offer a European influenced breakfast and lunch menu as well as also holding occasional functions.
- At least a diploma level qualification in Cookery
- Minimum 3 years + years in a leadership role
- Experience working with European cuisine, Ideally within hatted or Michelin star ratings
- Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking
- A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
- Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organized environment where team members take pride in their work
- Excellent communication skills
- Food Safety Supervisor or similar qualification
- Valid Australian work rights
Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Administration
- Food and Labour costs and controls
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Health and hygiene
- Staff management and recruitment
- Manage efficient food production and quality control for ŕ la carte dining and functions;
- Be passionate and creative in future menu development;
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment;
- Drive strategic business decisions for the venue;
