- Have at least a Diploma Level qualification in Hospitality
- Have a minimum 2 years-experience as a chef
- Have a good understanding of kitchen operations and stock control ideal

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all menus are in line with the direction of the business as specified by the owner;
- Ensure the menu is changed regularly to keep both customers and staff engaged;
- Preparing and Cooking meals to order;
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation;
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures;
- Coordinating prep lists and allocating tasks;
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff;
- Maintaining high standards of service and quality;
- Ensure hygiene standards are maintained;
- Ensure the kitchen has regulatory compliance to relevant laws and that systems and training is adhered to;
- May select and train staff;
- May freeze and preserve food;
- To have positive and ongoing communication with all staff to ensure your role has a seamless integration with all sections of the business;
