Full Time Business Development Manager
Salary Range $85,000 to $95,000+Super
Overall purpose of the role is to enhance BCI-s market penetration by identifying and closing new sales opportunities across the Asia Pacific.
The role sits within the Building Industry Specialists - Sales division of the business.
Reports to the VIC Sales Manager and liaises internally with;
- Co- COO
- Business Development Managers nationally
- Account Managers
- Customer Service Managers
- Subscriptions Department
- Information Researchers
Liaises externally with; BCI Clients and prospective clients
- 3- 5 years New Business Development Experience - Essential
- Advanced prospecting abilities - Essential
- Demonstrated solutions selling background; IT, Advertising, Recruitment and or Training - Essential
- Proven background thriving in a numbers driven environment; ability to meet KPI-s, Targets - Desirable
- Excellent communication skills - both written & oral - adapted for a diverse client market - Essential
- Expert objection handling and negotiation skills - Essential
- Advanced CRM skills and technical proficiency - Essential
- Building and construction industry knowledge - Desirable
- Team Focus - Essential
- Advanced presentation and communication skills - Essential
- Own car & valid driver-s license - Essential
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and developing new business by means of cold calling and client visits
- Identifying Industry prospects, qualifying them through consultation and providing tailored quotations
- Maintaining customer relationships by liaising with Account Management and Customer Service Managers
- Maintaining Industry knowledge through internal trainings, market analysis and the attendance of building and construction events
- Utilising the companies CRM system, to track and record customer interactions and notes, as well as frequent communication of sales productivity to management via meetings and reports.
- Utilizing BCI Account Managers & Customer Service Managers to maintain accounts and provide timely and quality follow ups
- Ad- Hoc tasks as assigned from time to time
- Uphold BCI-s company philosophies and corporate mission
- Maintain individual OH+S Responsibilities at all times
