The duties of the role:

The Finance Officer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex finance related work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, sts, methodologies ecedentsr>The position will perform various activities within one or more of the core finance functions of the Finance rporate Service Division, that include, financial accounting, Confidential accounting, finance business partnering, financial analytics heme financer>The position is a team membership position that be required to perform work that involves team leadership with supervision or Confidential responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities, managing workflows tcomes of a finance teamr>The position has reasonable autonomy countability to exercise both initiative dgment to interpret relevant finance legislation, policy s in the application of practices ocedures to achieve a variety of finance outcomesr>You will coordinate sume responsibility to provide detailed advice erational support in relation to complex finance issues oblemsr>Coordinate sist in the strategic planning, program oject Confidential licythat

What you will bring to the role:

Tertiary level qualifications in Accounting, Finance or equivalent academic specialisation is required
Experience in Financial Confidential is essential
Must be a member of Confidential Australia w ZealPA or other equivalent
Financial experience within the public sector his highly desirable
A strong underst, or ability to quickly develop an underst, of government processes
Exceptional analytical itten communication skills
A high degree of initiative, strong organisational skills e capability to manage effectively in a fast-paced working environment
