Here is an exciting opportunity to fast-track your career as a Finance Manager. Our client is a non-for-profit organisation that focuses on the prevention of one of society's most actual and most discussed topics. Their presence is growing across the country as well as its annual turnover which is currently around $20M. This role starts initially on a temp basis but offers brilliant long-term potential, a strong salary package and the opportunity to develop into a Head of Finance in the short to medium term. We are looking for a socially engaged finance professional who enjoys lots of stakeholder engagement and who can support the business in its growth trajectory.

The Role

Reporting into the Director of Corporate Services, you will enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities including

Business Partnering with multiple Project Managers managing their budgets and assisting with projectionsEnsure timely and accurate financial information to Director Corporate Services and the senior executive teamEnd-to-End Financial Management of the businessCashflow ForecastingOwning the budgeting / forecasting processLeading the month-end and year-end processManaging fortnightly payrollManagement and mentoring of 1
to 2 transactional staffDriving system and process improvements of the finance function

This role is likely to start on an initial temp basis with the intention to move into a permanent capacity within the first 3 months. Given the growing nature of the business there is a significant potential for this role to expand into a Head of Finance capacity over time.

The role offers flexible working hours as well as the opportunity to work from home multiple days a week.

Your Skills & Experience

Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or related fieldCPA or CA Qualification is essentialA minimum of 3-5 year's post qualification experienceA keen interest in the non-for-profit spaceExtensive Excel skillsStrong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detailImpressive understanding of internal controls and complianceExceptional organisational, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to start within 2 weeks' notice
