The Role

Starting on a temp basis and reporting to the Executive Director, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing a team of 4-5 talented professionalsBusiness Partnering with the Executive Leadership teamOversight of all day-to-day finance responsibilities including payrollOversee the budgeting and forecasting processCashflow forecastingEvaluate business processes and identify opportunities to streamline tasksCollaborate with auditorsLiaise with executive management in the decision-making process

Your Skills & Experience.

Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field.CPA or CA qualification essentialExperience in a Finance Manager or similar capacityExperience managing a small to medium sized teamAbility to build relationships inside and outside FinanceWillingness to be hands-on and help the teamNon-for-profit experience desirable

About You

You are an energetic and genuine character who loves to mentor staff and who can lead by example. You like being hands-on and help the team but you also have the ability to build relationships with Executive Leadership and are a true business partner for all Finance related matters. Ideally you are available within short notice and happy to start on an initial temp basis. For the right candidate this role has the opportunity to go permanent. The organisation supports flexible working hours and offers the opportunity to work from home multiple days a week.
