My Food Manufacturing client based in the Western suburbs has an immediate and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Finance Administration Officer to join their growing business. The Finance Administration Officer is responsible for assisting in the day to day financial and administrative systems, procedures, and operations, reporting to the Managing Director.
The culture of this busy office is progressive and relaxed, the suitable candiate will be highly motivated, possess great initiative and will be able to draw on their previous experience to offer great new ideas on improving day to day processes.
Responsibilities
Finance Administration duties
Processing invoices
Record and provide invoices for clients
Prepare monthly Invoice summaries for clients
Prepare Accounts payable and payments for approval by the MD
Follow up customers for payment.
Complete BAS, PAYG, Work Cover, Superannuation
Process payroll and prepare payment for authorisation and Please apply through this site. payslips each week
Reconcile bank statements
Maintain accounts system accurately and work with offsite accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting
Administrative support internal reporting for each department.
Participate in financial audits.
Update and maintain filing system.
Maintain the live inventory control system.
General Administration duties
Coordinate demand changes versus forecast weekly with Production Manager.
Work with warehouse to ensure timely despatch of goods invoiced.
Work with the Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure accurate customer information with regards to orders/despatch is conveyed
Answer incoming phone calls
Sort and distribute mail
Ensure we adhere to Policies and Regulations.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and social skills
Team player and able to work well autonomously
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in XERO accounting system with Unleashed System or another inventory control system experience a bonus
High level of computer and numeracy literacy
