JOB DESCRIPTION
Requirements:
Successful candidates will be very flexible to program requirements (bear in mind new client, new market, new programme - not all requirements will be detailed here, we will learn more as the program evolves - key will be remaining flexible)

Own device required (laptop in good working order)

2+ years sales experience - must have B2B & preferably in the restaurant/Mx industry

Working hours will be Mon-Fri. Expectation is that reps will align to most successful time to visit businesses. 10am-7pm seems sensible, but should be willing to flex according to business needs

Reps will not only be making in-person visits, but also calling, emails, etc - should have excellent telephone manner & written communications should be strong

As this is a sales roles, the most successful candidates will display:

-Speaking with decision makers/gate-keepers

-Be able to speak & relate to a wide variety of people

-Be experienced with the end-to-end sales cycle & closing deals

-Proven track history of successful selling

-Be extremely flexible to program requirements

-Have excellent presentation skills & be able to articulate the benefits of the platform to businesses

-Be extremely well versed with sales-talk & persuasion skills

Very proactive, uses own initiative & does not need to be managed closely.
Responsibilities:
-Communicate clearly & concisely

-Be easy to understand

-Be comfortable handling conversations with decision makers

Be driven, ambitious & take pride in their work

Be fluent in English - ideally nothing less than C2 level

Copes well under pressure / can handle potentially difficult conversations

Team orientated & work well as part of a group

Be target driven & sales orientated; they will need to convert cold calls into activations on the DoorDash platform

Provide a thorough analysis of the conversations with businesses / help evolve the sales pitch & make IT more successful

Travelling to Merchants is essential & reps should have the option of using their own transport if necessary

NZ reps - should be prepared to overnight/light travel as required

AUS reps - should not have a need to overnight/light travel but should be flexible to program requirements (incl. overnights & light travel)

Being tech-savvy will be beneficial - use client platforms, navigate tooling, comfortable with general device usage, etc.
