About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Cost Control Administrator to join our large mining and resources client based in . great opportunity to champion business improvement initiatives to optimise project delivery activities, create efficiencies and reduce cost where appropriate.he position is a Monday to Friday roster based in with occasional site travel required./p>

Duties and Responsibilities

Raise purchase orders and contracts in SAP

Reconcile invoiced costs against approved PO's

Review exception reports for to ensure systems alignment

Prepare BMS & SAP cost reports as required

Assist the senior costs with the preparation of payment certificates, variations and cost reports as required

Ensure all project costs are properly captured and reported against the appropriate purchase orders

Process contractor invoices for payments

Assist with all administrative duties as required

Skills and Experience

Prior experience working within a Cost Control Administrator role highly desirable

Previous experience working in a mining/project construction environment

Experience with systems such as SAP and CMS

Familiar with cost and finance practices

Accredited Finance Certification or work gained experience

Strong communication and organisation skills

High Attention to Detail

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite

Current Australian 'C' class driver licence

Ability to provide a Police Clearance within the last six months

Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
