The Role

Maritime Above Water Systems offers repair, maintenance and in-service support capabilities for commercial and naval ships on both the east and west coasts of Australia.

The purpose of the position is to provide Configuration and Data Management support to AWS

Programs in the day to day conduct of configuration management within the delegated program or project.

The Responsibilities

To assist the Configuration & Data Management organisation with the provision of data, their attributes and their validity across the whole lifecycle.To ensure the integrity of the definition, recording and traceability of the general and configuration data.To provide the data to enable the verification of internal and external configuration documentation.The retention and availability of stored data to required parties.The archiving of data as necessary.The recording of configuration baselines and providing status on identified gaps or omissions.Coordinating the compilation of required datafiles to support review at Configuration Control Boards.Processing of Change Management activities (including Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Variances)Formally file Change documentation.Providing CM tool training and guidance.Configuration Status Accounting.

Previous Data or Configuration Management Experience.


Certificate IV in Business Administration (or similar).Must be an Australian Citizen and
able to obtain a Baseline Australian Defence security clearance.


Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of spreadsheets / word processing software.
