About the role

Our CloudOps Frontline Team are technology enthusiasts, helping customers resolve technical faults across multiple cloud platforms to realise the potential of technology. 

This role focuses on achieving high levels of technical expertise and quality when responding to incidents and requests relating to our customers’ environments. You will be part of a team of technical subject matter experts with a broad knowledge of everything Cloud. The role encompasses technical deep-diving on complex tickets in your areas of expertise and taking ownership of complex incidents to avoid escalation to specialist teams where possible.

You will be joining the CloudOps Frontline Team on the evening shift, AEST 4PM – 12AM.  We are open to you being located anywhere in Australia, but ideally we are looking for people in NSW and VIC so that you can occasionally attend the office for social events and build relationships with other teams in the business. 

You will be responsible for:
Providing technical support either by telephone, live chat or ITSM tooling. Develop and maintain specialist knowledge and skill in supported products and in services associated with supported products, as required. Identify more complex technical issues for escalation to specialised staff and vendors and effectively leverage the pre-established escalation process. Maintaining
current knowledge and hands-on skills for key technologies that are in use by AC3 customers.   Essential Skills & experience
5+ years previous experience working with AWS. 5+ years experience as a Systems Administrator. Strong experience with Automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet. Experience with VMware and Azure. Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience supporting multiple customers across multiple platforms. Experience using Service management tools, preferably ServiceNow. Proven experience managing multiple tasks in a busy environment, working under stress in emergencies, and demonstrating flexibility to handle pressure coming from all directions simultaneously.
