The Associate, Policy ongoing role undertakes policy or project work to inform policy directions, facilitate service delivery reforms or major initiatives ovide well researched und options on which the Department can rely for effective decision making or deliveryp>

About the Team

The Strategic Coordination Branch is responsible for leading the sector to solve complex problems eate a better Confidential for our citizens through:

Providing trusted, expert rategic analysis vice to the Premier across the areas of social policy man services, resources nd use onomic policy
Bringing together multiple agencies ading theof whole-of-government strategy licy
Effectively evaluating policies, programs ojects
Meaningfully participating in ding value to project governance livery
Delivering projects ograms on behalf of Government where DPC is best placed to do sor>

Strategic Coordination Branch uses evidence to drive complex novative policies to advance social policy reform initiativeshe Branch has been instrumental in coordinating whole of government responses to the COVID- pc livering solutions to respond to emerging social impacts/p>

About you

We are looking for a Policy Officer who can successfully:

Manage competing priorities liver high quality written policy advicer> Work quickly fectively across a range of policy issuesr> Can communicate the complex clearly fectivelyr> Manage liver projectsr> Collaborate with key stakeholdersr>

Required knowledge, skills perience

Experience in developing plementing service delivery reforms, strategic initiatives or interagency projectsr> Experience in undertaking all aspects of the policy process - research, development, review aluationr> Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent, relevant professional experience ainingr>
