The Associate, Policy role undertakes policy or project work to inform policy directions, facilitate service delivery reforms or major initiatives ovide well researched und options on which the Department can rely for effective decision making or delivery.

About the Team

The Strategic Coordination Branch is responsible for leading the sector to solve complex problems eate a better for our citizens through

Providing trusted, expert rategic analysis vice to the Premier across the areas of social policy man services, resources nd use onomic policy
Bringing together multiple agencies ading theof whole-of- strategy licy
Effectively evaluating policies, programs ojects
Meaningfully participating in ding value to project governance livery
Delivering projects ograms on behalf of where DPC is best placed to do so.

Strategic Coordination Branch uses evidence to drive complex novative policies to advance social policy reform initiatives. The Branch has been instrumental in coordinating whole of responses to the COVID- pc livering solutions to respond to emerging social impacts.

About you

We are looking for a Policy Officer who can successfully

Manage competing priorities liver high quality written policy advice.
Work quickly fectively across a range of policy issues.
Can communicate the complex clearly fectively.
Manage liver projects.
Collaborate with key stakeholders.

Required knowledge, skills perience

Experience in developing plementing service delivery reforms, strategic initiatives or interagency projects.
Experience in undertaking all aspects of the policy process - research, development, review aluation.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent, relevant professional experience aining.
