Analyst Programmer - Sydney

Requirements:
Chirpn is looking to bring on Analyst Programmer to join an ongoing project.
Development/Group : Programming using COBOL , C
Year of Experience : 5- 8 Years
Position Type : Full - Time
Salary Range (per Year) : $100,000 to 115,000 + Super
Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years of Development/programming experience in mainframe environments using COBOL and C.
Strong Knowledge of procedural programming and debugging platforms including COBOL , C
Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple client engagements from definition phase through implementation.
Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
Oversee implementation of production role out of the project.
Creating a solution prototype for new functionality or enhancements.
Experience in developing or supporting high availbility production systems.
Experience in client- Facing roles.
Providing support to the users and testing teams during Integration, UAT & Regression testing by resolving the issues encountered during testing.
Lead responsibilities including code review of team members and provide recommendations.
Experience of end- To- End project delivery from initial brief to final delivery, with both the development team and our clients.

 
Skills and Experience
Understanding of procedural language and architecture
Understanding of mainframe environment
Knowledge of deployment architecture
Experience with agile development, sprints and the ability to manage your development time well.
Always want to improve your code and your implementations
Be open to feedback and design inputs.
