The Company

We are working with our established client to source an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their close-knit team here in the CBD. The team are supportive, very knowledgeable and have established processes and deadlines which will support you in your transition to the Company. You will be allocated your invoice portfolio to manage end to end with full trust from the Financial Controller.

The Role

Your primary responsibility is to process invoices precisely whilst maintaining an accurate record with key responsibilities including:

Processing incoming invoices into the system (approx 500 pw)Coding the invoice appropriately and accuratelyObtaining authorization from the relevant Managers where requiredCreating a payment file and processing weekly, monthly and ad hoc payment runsResolving supplier enquiriesReconciling incoming supplier
statementsSupport team with bank reconciliations and any credit card reconciliationsAny other ad hoc duties as required from time to time.

About You

You are highly organised, detail oriented and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly but accurately. You are attentive to detail and have a flexible outlook to be agile in the workplace. You have excellent communication skills, customer service and social skills, especially with contacts from both technical and financial backgrounds. You have experience using an ERP system and intermediate Excel skills.
