We take pride in manufacturing our products locally using Aluplast German-engineered UPVC profile systems, ensuring quality control and customisation to meet the specific needs of residents. With a team boasting international expertise gained in Europe and the UK, Ultraframe offers unrivalled knowledge in the field, catering for the unique climate and property requirements of Sydney. Our customer-centric approach focuses on delivering noise reduction, advanced security systems and improved energy efficiency, all aimed at enhancing the overall comfort and value of homes.
We are currently looking for a full-time Carpenter to join our team.
Work Experience and Skills:
- • Relevant certificate
- • Minimum 2 years of work experience
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- • Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- • Excellent communication skills
- • Great interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- • Examine drawings and project specifications for information about the design, dimensions and materials required for the installation of double-glazed windows and doors.
- • Create layout plans to ensure that the double-glazed windows and doors fit perfectly within the designated spaces.
- • Source the appropriate materials for each project, considering factors such as clients' preferences and structural requirements.
- • Measure and cut materials to size and assemble frames and fixtures.
- • Assemble window and door components, including frames, sashes and hardware, ensuring that they fit together securely and are ready for installation.
- • Attach double-glazed windows and doors securely and make adjustments to achieve a tight fit.
- • Verify the accuracy and alignment of the framework and components to avoid gaps that could compromise the integrity and performance of double-glazed windows and doors.
- • Apply weatherproofing and insulation materials to create an airtight and watertight seal around windows and doors.
- • Repair and replace damaged or worn components of window and door structures and restore the functionality and appearance of fixtures.
- • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that the installed double-glazed windows and doors meet the highest standards of quality, functionality and safety.
Benefits:
Salary package: $70,000-$80,000 per annum
